HandsOn-Advanced Analytics™ is committed to providing a non-biased lecture on best-of-class technologies and techniques as well as exposing participants to leading BI tools, their use, and their application.
The course begins with an examination of the Business Intelligence gap between what is promised user communities and what is often delivered. Participants are then led through discussions and lab exercises that emphasize in-database and non-traditional BI products, features, and functionality such as ESRI Business Analyzer and Spatial Extender, SAS ETL Studio and Enterprise Miner, IBM Intelligent Miner and Cube Views as a Web Services, and Hyperion Essbase, and Forge BI Dashboard.
Extensive lab time provides students with valuable insight into the functionality and applicability with non-traditional BI technology as well as implementing traditional BI technology in a non-traditional manner, specifically, in-database.
